Casey Butz

Casey Butz has been handling hunting dogs since childhood. With decades of experience and a passionate love of dogs, he can provide expert training in the areas of gun dog/hunting, and Championship Bracework competitions.

Casey is a highly successful competitor, an avid hunter, and a Spaniel field trial judge. These qualifications give him the experience he needs to fully understand the requirements of all aspects of your dogs training.

All Breed Gun Dog Training

Along with other professional training, Abitt Like Home Kennels offers field trial training and handling with consistent championship results.  Casey shows his understanding of the specialized needs of a professional trainer/handler.  He has a large number of winning dogs in fiercely competitive arenas.

Abitt Like Home Kennels is an all breed gun dog training facility specializing in puppies.  The best time to start this program is 8 to 10 months of age.We can customize a training program for you based on your hunting preferences and needs.  Our goal is to bring out the best your dog has to offer.  We work with pointing dogs, flushing dogs, and retrievers.

Training Packages

Introduction Course

Your dog stays here for a month or two of basic introduction.  This is a must for a great start to developing a young puppy into a first rate hunting partner.

Gun Dog Refresher Course

This is a program to brush up seasoned veterans before hunting season.  The length of stay depends on the dog, but is usually a month or two, depending on the needs of the dog and hunter.
